The 2022 Pirone Calendar, led by Bryan Adams, features "On the Road" and focuses on some of the most talented musicians in the music world. Adams chose Los Angeles and Capri as filming locations to bring together artists of different nationalities, musical genres, ages and professional backgrounds on this journey.
"For the last 45 years, I've been 'on the road'. Because the life of a musician is made up of journeys, journeys, waiting time in hotels, and behind-the-scenes footage," said Brian Adams, Canadian photographer for the 48th edition of the Pirelli Calendar. This version of the annual calendar was filmed for two days in Los Angeles in June, where most of the models were filmed, and then moved to Capri for the final day of shooting at the end of July.

Cher, Grimes, Jennifer Hudson, Normani, Rita Ora, Bohan Phoenix, Iggy Pop, St. Vincent (formerly annie Clark) and Kali Uchis was involved in the filming in Los Angeles, covering city streets, the Palace Theatre and Chateau Marmont, while Saweetie's photo was taken at the famous La Scalinatella hotel in Capri.
The 2022 Pirelli annual calendar, themed "On the Road", will be released in November this year. This represents the return of the Pirelli Annual Calendar project, which was interrupted last year due to the pandemic.

Since the late 1990s, Brian Adams has combined his rock 'n' roll career with a passion for photography, photographing musicians, actors and models and receiving great acclaim, including Sir Mick Jagger, John Boyega, Amy Winehouse, Naomi Campbell and many politicians. He also took photos of the "Golden Jubilee Celebration" celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Queen's accession to the throne. His portraits have appeared in top publications such as Vogue, Vanity Fair, GQ and Harper's Bazaar, as well as the art magazine Zoo, which he co-published. In addition, Brian Adams has published several photo collections, including American Women (2004), Exposed (2012), Wounded: the Legacy of War, a photo album focusing on wounded British soldiers, and Homeless, published in 2019. On the other hand, his musical works have topped more than 40 national music charts in the past 40 years, and have been nominated for three Academy Awards, five Golden Globe Awards and one Grammy Award. He is also about to release his 15th album in 2021.
