Those nostalgic and fresh breaths remind me of my childhood as a child. On a sweltering night, lit with mosquito coils, I lay in a white gauze tent listening to the insects outside the window chirping cicadas. Waking up during the day, the red flowers blooming on the branches of the trees elicited the crisp sound of birds. On a sunny afternoon, I always played with the neighbors and children with dirty faces and laughed. The smell of those summers makes people slightly dizzy. I still remember this picture, but I have a faint feeling in my heart.
In the second half of the film, Mei, an grown-up girl, is sent to a young musician to continue working as a maid, a handsome man she admired as a child, and her heart has always been secretly affectionate. But he didn't remember her, he already had a fiancée with a very good background.
There is a scene where Mei puts on a red tunic and secretly smears lipstick in front of the mirror, just in time to meet the young male protagonist coming home. She hid behind the door in a panic, her head bowed and afraid to look at his face. He developed feelings for her.
