Green peacocks are larger pheasants, and males will determine each other's territories by chirping, and if they find that there are female peacocks visiting their territories, they will post them on the open screen for courtship. Adult peacock tail screens are 2-3 meters long and have colorful feathers. When peacocks open the screen, they need a large open space, which is very necessary for them. According to the researchers, peacocks are divided into two major species of blue and green by the Himalayas. The blue peacock is mainly distributed in India, Nepal, Bangladesh and other places on the southern side of the Himalayas, compared to the blue peacock, the green peacock is more picky about the living environment. In recent years, Yunnan has accelerated the protection of green peacock habitats and the connection of ecological corridors to provide convenient conditions for population exchanges, and at the same time, through artificial feeding, patrolling, monitoring and other measures, a protection network has been formed around the habitat of green peacocks.
