On the morning of March 15, seeing that the time was ripe for arrest, the Dongyang police station dispatched elite police forces to control all the personnel who were fighting birds, and 10 people were successfully arrested at the scene.

After interrogation, a number of suspects confessed to buying thrushes from different channels and platforms at different prices. According to reports, at the beginning of February this year, China's adjusted "National Key Protected Wildlife Directory" was officially announced, and 517 species (categories) of wild animals were added to the "List", of which 160 species of protected birds were added, such as the thrush, woodpecker, starling, etc. that we are more familiar with, have been upgraded to the level of protection or added to protected animals.

The police remind the public that bird breeding must be in accordance with laws and regulations, and must not illegally raise birds.
