In his lecture, he shared the personal experience of the Chinese civilization exploration project, explored the evolution of civilization, revealed the pattern of pluralism and integration, and interpreted the relationship between the ancient Shu civilization and the Xia and Shang dynasties.
Wang Wei introduced that the "Chinese Civilization Source Exploration Project" adheres to the concept of "multi-discipline, multi-angle, multi-level and all-round", and carries out key excavations around the four Duyi sites such as Liangzhu in Yuhang, Zhejiang, Xiangfen Tao Temple in Shanxi, Shenmu Shi'a in Shaanxi, and Yanshi Erlitou in Henan, as well as other central sites in the Yellow River Basin, Yangtze River Basin and Liao River Basin, between 3500 BC and 1500 BC, and carried out large-scale archaeological surveys of settlement groups around these sites. On this basis, multidisciplinary comprehensive research is carried out, and multidisciplinary comprehensive research is carried out on the process of civilization, environmental background, life form, social differentiation, mutual exchange, and the formation process, mode and mechanism, road and characteristics of the diversified integration pattern of Chinese civilization in various regions.
