Located in the impoverished south of Mexico, Oaxaca is arguably the richest place in the country's indigenous culture preservation.

On June 30, mayor Victor Hugo Sousa bent down more than once at a wedding to kiss the nose of the bride's baby crocodile in San Pedro Valmelula, Oaxaca, Mexico. This ancient ritual dresses crocodiles or caimans in white wedding dresses and other brightly colored clothing, indicating a combination with Catholic spirituality.

This time, Mayor Sousa's bride is a seven-year-old crocodile, known as the Little Princess, believed to be the deity representing Mother Earth, and her marriage to the local leader symbolizes the union of humans with the gods.

This tradition seems to need to be needed elsewhere, and recently the world has been hot and record-breaking, such as Italy, where the drought is severe and may also need the help of the crocodile bride.

The wedding was officiated by a local godmother, which the local residents consider to be a very beautiful tradition.

But the crocodile bride will not be happy, the wedding can not kiss the groom! [Teeth] #Crocodile ##Bride#Mexico Town ##多地将热得破纪录 #
