On May 4, according to Thai media news, Mr. Cha Vacharon, spokesman for the Office of the Prime Minister of Thailand, revealed that in May 2024, Thai Prime Minister Saita will lead a delegation to plan a visit abroad. Initial plans are for a visit to France and Italy from 15 to 21 May.

On May 22-24, Prime Minister Saita will lead a delegation to Japan, which is a continuation of his previous visit to Europe. The spokesperson said that Prime Minister Saita's trip in May was mainly aimed at France and Italy, and that an important item on the agenda was to continue the soft power development that had already been made, including the negotiation of the Thailand-EU Free Trade Agreement (FTA).

It is understood that since taking office, Saita has visited 14 countries and 1 special administrative region around the world, and has met with leaders and investors of various countries/regions more than 12 times, including the United States, Cambodia, China, Brunei, Malaysia, Singapore, Saudi Arabia, Laos, Japan, Switzerland, Sri Lanka, Australia, France, Germany, and Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of China.
