On May 3rd and 4th, Yanghua Drama & Mr. Mo Yan's drama masterpiece "Crocodile" will premiere at Suzhou Bay Grand Theater, and on May 10th and 11th, it will be performed at Hangzhou Theater.
The drama "Crocodile" is the first original drama script written by the famous writer Mo Yan after winning the Nobel Prize in Literature, and the play is directed by Wang Keran, the artistic director of Yanghua Theatre. The event kicked off with an original piece performed by the Kasuga Project Symphony Orchestra and composed by the famous Japanese musician Shigeru Umebayashi, bringing the press conference into the artistic atmosphere of the play. From the perspective of music, it condenses the dramatic portrayal of "sinking in desire, yearning for the light but can't" in the drama "Crocodile", and also fills the audience's expectations for future performances. It is reported that this is the first time in the world that Shigeru Umebayashi has composed original music for a theatrical stage.
It is reported that the drama "Crocodile" after two months of creation and polishing, has now entered the final sprint stage, the crew will be in the Suzhou Bay Grand Theater for the final rehearsal and technical synthesis, the actors and all the main creative team will spend the "May Day" holiday in artistic creation, and also look forward to dedicating excellent works to audiences in Suzhou and around the world during the "May Day" period.
At the event site, the actors of the drama "Crocodile" Zhao Wenxuan, Zhang Kaili, Deng Cuiwen, Mo Hong, Bai Kainan, Li Zonglei, Li Longyin, Wang Jinghua, Fu Xing, Lin Zihao, Bai Wenxian and other actors, as well as director Wang Keran and the French creative design team, all appeared and had a vivid exchange and interaction with the audience.
Nowadays, the mood of the actors is very different from when they first joined the group. Bai Kainan, who played "Niu Bu", served as the host of this press conference, and at the beginning, he admitted that after cooperating with Yanghua Drama, he could call himself an actor instead of a cross talk actor. Actor Wang Jinghua, who plays "Mrs. Tang", said with a smile: "Mo Hong and I have a common characteristic, each of their roles is 32 lines.
