On April 18, the "International Chinese Day" cultural experience event hosted by the Chinese Embassy in Mexico and undertaken by the Confucius Institute of the National Autonomous University of Mexico was held in Mexico City. With the theme of "Chinese: Building a Bridge of Mutual Learning between Civilizations", the event was divided into four booths: calligraphy experience, tea art display, national style lantern decoration workshop and Chinese character flipping game, with nearly 100 Mexican citizens participating to explore the charm of Chinese characters and feel the breadth and profundity of Chinese tea culture.

In the calligraphy experience, participants held a brush and wrote the character "Fu" under the guidance of the Confucius Institute teacher. Many people use a brush to write for the first time, have said that it is difficult but fun; in the national style lantern decoration activities, the students who got the unique "Fu" lanterns actively designed and decorated the lanterns, with rich materials to show infinite creativity and imagination, some choose ink and blue to depict the three friends of the year, and some choose colorful cardboard to cut out peach blossoms, pandas, goldfish, auspicious clouds and other patterns. Each lantern shows the students' understanding and love for Chinese culture, as well as their yearning and blessings for a better life.
