After the floods caused by heavy rainfall on June 17 receded, the Xanadu scenic spot left silt and garbage behind.
In order to help the scenic spot clean up garbage and silt as soon as possible, help the scenic spot to resume work as soon as possible, and reduce the losses caused by flood disasters, on June 19, Baisha Town organized more than 60 party members and cadres, people's congress deputies and urban management team members from government agencies and town-level units to carry out pollution and dredging operations in Xanadu Scenic Area.
Liao Guangliang, chairman of the Baisha Town People's Congress: Today we organized more than 60 cadres, workers, and people's congress deputies at all levels in our town to come to the Xanadu Scenic Spot to help the scenic spot clean up the garbage left behind after the flood and the silt left by the wharf. Through these actions, we cleaned up the garbage from the trees and rivers, washed away the silt on the docks, and restored our tourism order.
After more than 3 hours of cleaning, most of the garbage and sewage and silt in the scenic spot were cleaned up, and the Xanadu scenic spot was rejuvenated with beauty and vitality.
Li Zhongshun, Secretary of the Party Committee of Baisha Town: After the flood on June 17, now our Baisha Town has fully turned into a state of post-disaster recovery, and today we have organized party members and volunteers, and more than 60 people have gone to our key scenic spot Xanadu Scenic Area to help them do a good job in sanitation, recover as soon as possible, and preserve the results of the recovery of our cultural and tourism industry. The party members and cadres of the 16 village neighborhood committees are now mobilizing our people to clean up their homes and restore normal production and living order as soon as possible.
At present, the cleaning up of water garbage and soaking items in Xanadu Scenic Area is being carried out in an orderly manner, in order to prepare for the resumption of normal operation of scenic spots, accelerate the resumption of work in scenic spots, and reduce the losses caused by flood disasters.
