Open the latest version of China's high-speed rail route map, like a map of human blood vessels, crisscrossing and covering the whole country.

From the Linhai Snow Plains to the Jiangnan Water Village, from the Desert Gobi to the coast of the East China Sea, China's high-speed rail has covered 92% of the country's cities with a population of more than 500,000.

By the end of 2021, the total mileage of China's high-speed rail operation has exceeded 40,000 kilometers, which can completely circumvent the equator.

Among them, more than 30,000 kilometers of new production mileage has been added in the past decade.

From June 20, the high-speed railway from Beijing to Wuhan will operate at a regular speed of 350 kilometers per hour.

For Zhang Hua, who has been stationed in the Wuhan branch for a long time, after returning to his home in Beijing from 1200 kilometers away, the fastest high-speed rail ride is only 3 hours and 48 minutes, and the time cost of reuniting with his family has been reduced a lot.

Open roads in every mountain and build bridges in water. In the past ten years, China has achieved many world-leading achievements in major scientific and technological facilities, water conservancy projects, transportation hubs and other aspects. From Daxing Airport to the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge, from the Haoji Railway to the Beipanjiang Bridge, from the China-Europe Express to the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor, one big country project after another has converged into a network to connect China and the world.

Over the past decade, China's tightly woven "infrastructure network" is far from it. China has also made many breakthroughs in the construction of new infrastructure such as information infrastructure, integrated infrastructure, and innovation infrastructure. It has built the world's largest and technologically advanced information and communication network, completed the overall layout of the national integrated big data center system, made important progress in intelligent transportation, smart energy, industrial Internet, etc.; laid out 57 major scientific and technological infrastructures, and made new breakthroughs in projects such as "China's Sky Eye" and "Artificial Sun".

In the memory of Li Wenjin, a villager in Dongxuwang Village, Heguo Town, Nanhe District, Xingtai City, Hebei Province, in the past, his family relied on well water for draft water, and he had "bitter memories" of well water. Now, as long as you open the tap, you can drink the water of the Yangtze River thousands of miles away.

"In the past, when the water consumption was large in the summer, it was necessary to fill the water tank with water in advance. The water was too hard, and within a few days of boiling the water, the kettle had a thick layer of scale. Li Wenjin said, "Now it's good, I don't have to worry about draught anymore." ”

Hebei's per capita water resources are only 1/7 of China's average.

Ten years ago, in Handan, Xingtai, Hengshui, Cangzhou and other places, the problem of excessive fluoride in rural drinking water was still very serious, brackish water and high fluoride water were the heart diseases of many people, and "eating clean water" was also a luxury.

At the end of 2014, the first phase of the South-to-North Water Diversion Project was fully connected. The clear water of the river flows north from the Danjiangkou Reservoir in the middle and upper reaches of the Han River, flowing thousands of kilometers, bringing Ganlin to the extremely water-scarce north of China.

Taking advantage of the opportunity of connecting the south water, Hebei has vigorously implemented the water replacement project for rural residents in the water-receiving areas, benefiting more than 35.5 million people in the province, and by the end of this year, 28.72 million rural people in the water-receiving areas of hebei's south-to-north water diversion will eat the water of the Yangtze River.

The world's largest water transmission aqueduct, the first tunnel crossing the Yellow River, the world's largest group of modern pumping stations... As one of the world's largest water diversion projects, the South-to-North Water Diversion Project has used a variety of technologies such as nullahs, aqueducts, tunnels and other technologies in the construction, and hundreds of thousands of builders have overcome one world-class problem after another, and finally realized the northward movement of the south-to-north water. The first phase of the iconic Central Line was completed in December 2014.

Since its opening, Nanshui has become the main source of water for more than 140 million people in more than 280 counties and municipalities in more than 40 large and medium-sized cities in Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei, Henan and other places.

As of May 13 this year, the total amount of water diverted from the eastern and central lines of the South-north Water Diversion Project reached 53.1 billion cubic meters, which implemented ecological replenishment of 8.5 billion cubic meters for more than 50 rivers along the line, and reduced the amount of groundwater over-extraction for the water-affected areas by more than 5 billion cubic meters.

According to the "South-to-North Water Diversion Project Master Plan", China will eventually form a water resource allocation pattern of "four horizontal and three vertical, north-south allocation, and east-west mutual benefit". The four major river systems of the Yangtze River, huaihe river, yellow river and haihe river form a "four horizontal", and the three water transfer lines of the east, middle and west of the south-to-north water diversion project create a "three vertical".

Since becoming the first secretary of Wang Liangpo Village in Shanxi County in 2018, helping farmers and helping enterprises has become the dream of Zhang Chengyun, a "grassroots cadre of internet celebrities", and in recent years, faster 5G network speeds have pressed the "acceleration button" for his dream. Since 2022, he has led the team to "stand and shout" for agricultural products through online live broadcasts on platforms such as Douyin and Kuaishou, 7 strawberry live broadcasts have generated income of more than 100,000 yuan for fruit farmers, and 27 cherry live broadcasts have directly sold nearly one million yuan.

Today, from the southeast coast to the northwest plateau, online live broadcasting is all over China," which has benefited from another "infrastructure network" laid by China in the past decade.

As of the end of February this year, China's 5G network has covered all prefectures, cities and counties in the country, as well as 87% of townships and towns; more than 1.425 million 5G base stations have been built and opened, and more than 600,000 new ones will be built this year; and the number of 5G mobile terminal connections has reached 520 million.

In 2021, Shanxi, a Chinese mainland province, achieved online retail sales of 87.12 billion yuan, while China's online retail sales reached 13.1 trillion yuan. Qin Jianzhong, director of the Market Construction Department of the Department of Commerce of Shanxi Province, introduced that at present, 59 counties (cities, districts) in Shanxi have successively carried out comprehensive demonstration work of e-commerce into rural areas, covering more than 7,000 administrative villages in more than 600 townships.

China has always regarded infrastructure as an important support for economic and social development, and accelerated the construction of a modern infrastructure system.

"I am a rural worker who is too small to be small, but has a big dream of getting rich, and I want to publicize the people's characteristic agricultural products and the good products of enterprises through online live broadcasting, smooth sales channels, and bring new vitality to rural revitalization." Zhang Chengyun said.

By the end of 2021, the total length of China's highways will exceed 5.2 million kilometers, there will be about 2,660 berths of 10,000 tons and above in ports, and 248 airports will be certified for transportation. In the past ten years, one "infrastructure network" after another has been built on the land of China, so that the people can realize one dream after another.
