Now the integrated water-cooled radiator on the market has greatly improved in both performance and appearance, and has become the first choice for many players. As a professional heat dissipation brand, Kyushu Fengshen has launched many new products in the past two years in the integrated water cooling products, and the main ones on sale are fortress and water elements, which are positioned in the middle and low end respectively. Recently, Kyushu Fengshen upgraded its fortress series and launched a new ice fortress, which is its first product.

The Fortress 360 launched by Kyushu Wind God two years ago supports the customization of the cold head logo, and the Ice Fortress 360 also continues this design. It adopts a dual halo infinite reflection mirror cold head full of technology, and the mirror surface of the cold head is lit after booting, and the inner halo is very layered. In addition, the cold head supports any direction of installation, the top cover logo can be rotated in any direction 360 °, even if you install in the opposite direction can also make it look good by rotating the top cover. At the same time, it also comes with a blank logo piece, which can be DIY stickers to create a personalized light effect pattern.

As a high-end integrated water cooling, Ice Fortress 360 supports RGB lighting effects, which is compatible with the motherboard lighting effect system of asus, Gigabyte, MSI and other mainstream platforms. Only need to download the software of the relevant platform to create a unified style of lighting effects and achieve linkage. It should be noted that the lighting effect connector of ice fortress 360 is 5V@3pin, and many motherboards that currently support lighting effects have 5V@3pin and 12V@4pin sockets. For motherboards that do not support the lighting effect, you can also connect the power cord directly to light the lighting effect, but adjusting the lighting effect is not so arbitrary.

Unlike the cold head of the fortress 360, which adopts a cylindrical design, the ice fortress 360 adopts a rounded square and applies a three-phase inner winding drive motor, which is more powerful and has a higher head. In addition, the cold head also adopts a newly designed waterway to make heat transfer more efficient. Finally, it also thickens the copper bottom to improve thermal efficiency while better fitting the processor.

The cold row part of the Ice Fortress 360 is slightly different from the cold row of the ordinary all-in-one water-cooled radiator, and it is longer. This extra part is the dynamic balance anti-spill technology equipped by Kyushu Fengshen, which can automatically maintain the pressure balance of the integrated water cooling system, avoid the risk of leakage, and improve safety and stability under long-term operation.

Ice Fortress 360 uses a cooling fan with the model number FC120 A-RGB PWM, which enhances air volume and pressure, and uses original FDB bearings, which can reach a working life of about 50,000 hours. In addition, the parameters of the fan have also been specially adjusted, and its speed is between 500RPM and 2250RPM, the air volume can reach up to 85.85CFM, and the maximum noise at full load is less than 32.9dB(A). Of course, as for the thermal performance and noise performance, we will also verify it through the next tests.

Ice Fortress 360 is compatible with current mainstream platforms such as Intel LGA2066/2011-v3/2011/1700/1200/115x, AMD sTRX4/sTR4/AM5/AM4. At the same time, its installation is relatively simple, using a newly designed fastener, just follow the instructions to install. We noticed a detail that also marked the corresponding fastener on the fixed screws, such as the LGA1700 platform we used, which is marked with the word 1700 on the fixing screws for easy user identification. In addition, the connection of the fan is also very simple, it uses a series connection, that is, the interconnection between the fans, which can avoid access to a lot of cables, so that the inside of the chassis is more regular.

On the Intel Core i9-12900K platform, we set the processor to the default 4.9GHz (full core) voltage of 1.2V, and then loaded the processor with the help of the AIDA64 System Stability Test (Stress FPU checked). After nearly 34 minutes of full core load, we noticed that the package temperature of the processor reached about 96 °C (room temperature 27 °C), and the System Stability Test will have an overheating reminder, although it can withstand the load for more than 30 minutes, but the processor temperature is higher. After manually reducing the voltage of the processor to about 1.1V, we can see that the package temperature of the processor is stable at about 77 °C, which is excellent.

Judging from the results, the Ice Fortress 360 has a relatively good performance in heat dissipation performance. In addition, its noise control is relatively in place, in the open platform distance of 1m range can only faintly hear the sound of high-speed operation of the fan, if it is in the chassis, you do not have to worry about the impact of fan noise.
