IT Home reported on April 30 that the Austrian cooling brand Owl Noctua recently updated the product roadmap for the April 2024 version and released a new product preview on the X platform.
According to the new version of the roadmap, the owl will release a new generation of NH-D15 cooler this quarter, while the release date of the standard version of the new generation of 140mm fans used in the cooler will be postponed to the third quarter, and the blackened version will be launched in the first quarter of next year.
In addition, the owl will also launch a 60mm size thin fan in the fourth quarter.
According to the observation and comparison of IT House, the silhouette of the new product shared by Owl on the X platform obviously does not belong to the above four products. Therefore, the products preheated by the owl should correspond to the "Undisclosed project" that is expected to be launched in the current quarter.
French media outlet Hardware & Co noted that the product in the video has a similar appearance to the prototype of the desktop fan shown by the owl in 2018.

The desktop fan is based on the NF-A12x25 fan and was once on the product roadmap.
Owl officially said in early 2023 that it was re-evaluating the tabletop fan project, and it was not clear exactly when it would be launched, so it removed the product from the product roadmap at that time.
