IT Home inquired and learned that DirectX 9 is the last version that officially supports Windows XP, that is, the follow-up "League of Legends" needs to be played on Windows Vista and above operating systems.
League of Legends also officially issued an announcement recommending players to upgrade their Windows 7 system to Windows 10 or Windows 11.
