According to a paper in the latest journal Transactions on Cloud Computing from the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), Alibaba's Yitian 710, released in 2021, is the best Arm-based cloud service processor with the best performance and energy efficiency today.
Ali Yitian 710 is manufactured using 5nm process, pure 64-bit Armv9 instruction set architecture, 128 cores, 1MB L2 cache per core, shared 64MB L3 cache, up to 3.2GHz, support eight-channel DDR5 memory, 96 PCIe 5.0 lanes.
Alibaba says it is the industry's most powerful ARM server chip, leading the industry benchmark by 20%, and the energy efficiency ratio has also increased by more than 50%, mainly used in Alibaba Cloud data centers.

Even compared with the x86 architecture Xeon Platinum 8848C, it is not far behind, and Dhrystone and Whetstone are at the same level as it in both projects.
The paper also pointed out that in addition to excellent performance, Ali Yitian 710 also has a leading instruction set, DDR5 memory, PCIe 5.0 lanes, and a larger L3 cache, and it did so in 2021.
