Halo Infinite's new second season: The "Lone Wolf" update is now available, adding a new set of free content such as new maps and new modes, but it also adds another extremely important and noteworthy project, 343 bringing back everyone's favorite Microsoft office mascot: Clippy.
The iconic digital assistant from an earlier version of Windows, Office, now appears as a nameplate and weapon pendant in Halo: Infinity. Microsoft's James Shields showcased Clippy in two tweets. With those iconic big eyes, this is definitely a sight worth seeing, and it will make you feel terrified of your enemies on the battlefield.
Clippy was hugely popular at launch, and many players loved the small on-screen animation when they were children. Although Clippy was eventually scrapped along with his other Office assistants, his influence remained strong. Many people remember his positive and triumphant little smile, and as such, 343 brought it back to Halo: Infinity.
Halo: Infinity Season 2 "Lone Wolf" is the latest massive update. As part of the new season, 343 has launched a new campaign called "Distractions," which offers new challenges to unlock various rewards.
