After the 4.0 version of Battlefield 2042 was updated last week, the number of steam online users doubled (although there were only more than 4,000 people), but it was also a recovery, and as the difficult brother of Battlefield 2042, Halo: Infinity (both released in the same period last year), is now cooler than "2042", and halo: infinite steam online is no longer as popular as "2042".
According to SteamDB data, as of the time of this writing, Halo: Infinity currently has only 2694 online players, less than the 2740 players of Battlefield 2042, and the 24-hour peak is only 8980. Not only that, but Halo: Infinity suffered a lot of bad reviews at the start of April, and now steam merchandise reviews have turned mixed.
Of course, 343 is not waiting to die, the second season of halo: infinity multiplayer mode "Lone Wolf" will be launched on May 3, and it is rumored that the "battle royale" mode will be launched in the future. We'll see.
