As early as February this year, Activision Blizzard revealed that its long-running "Warcraft" series of game IP will enter the mobile field this year, and now we know its exact form.

Recently, Blizzard officially exposed this free "tower defense" mobile game that supports iOS and Android platforms, Warcraft Arclight Rumble.
Considered a combination of strategy and tower defense, players can choose from one of five factions, Alliance, Horde, Beast, Black Rock, and The Undead, each with their own abilities and expertise.
Game modes vary depending on the map chosen (Blizzard promises more than 70 at launch), and these modes can range from skirmishes to boss battles. Players will need to deploy their class units from their pool of available heroes, 60 collectible heroes have been announced, and more powerful heroes in the future can also be deployed by collecting gold during matches.
Warcraft Arc Will feature a player guild, PvE, PvP, co-op, and dungeons, with Blizzard promising new quests every week.
Perhaps unsurprisingly, developer Blizzard skipped kryptonite content in its game demo.
The release of Warcraft Arc is part of a series of recent announcements from Activision Blizzard, including a new "Age of Dragons" expansion pack for World of Warcraft and a nostalgic "Wrath of the Lich King" expansion pack.
