According to the sales volume of compulsory traffic insurance terminals mastered by the first commercial vehicle network, in March 2022, the domestic new energy light truck market sold a total of 4,059 vehicles of various types (excluding exports, military vehicles and pickup trucks). Hereinafter referred to as "new energy light trucks"), the cumulative sales in the first quarter were 7776 vehicles, which achieved a substantial increase year-on-year. It can be expected that if it were not for the impact of the epidemic on market demand and the delay in the licensing of new vehicles in some areas, the performance of the new energy light truck market in the first quarter would be stronger.
As can be seen from the figure below, in March this year, Brilliance Xinyuan and Liuzhou Wuling jumped to the first and second places in the industry, but the cumulative sales champion in the first quarter was still won by Geely Commercial Vehicle Group's remote cars. In addition, faw jiefang, Foton, Jiangling, Shaanxi automobile light truck and other traditional commercial vehicle mainstream enterprises are increasing their resource investment in this segment, and their market position is also rising rapidly.
