Han Xu, founder and CEO of Wenyuan Zhixing, said:

"Since the strategic cooperation between the two sides, Hesai has been one of our most trusted partners.

Wenyuan Zhixing autonomous driving fleet footprint has spread across fifteen cities around the world, to carry out different scales, different models of testing and operation, application scenarios covering smart travel, smart freight and smart sanitation, we always adhere to the development of safe and stable landing unmanned driving technology, and vehicle-grade semi-solid-state lidar represents the new trend of the development of autonomous driving perception components, I believe that the cooperation and upgrading with Hesai will be able to help improve the automatic driving capabilities of our fleet."

As early as 2019, the Hesai Pandar series began to be deployed in batches to carry out testing and operation of Wenyuan Zhixing's more than 100-unit Robotaxi fleet, helping Wenyuan Zhixing successfully land China's first fully open and commercially operated autonomous taxi service.

The service landed in Guangzhou's Huangpu District, operating fleet with taxi qualifications, the same charging standard as Guangzhou taxis, by this year the service has entered its third year.

Wenyuan Zhixing obtained the online ride-hailing operation license in 2021, becoming the first company in the autonomous driving industry to have an online ride-hailing qualification.

With the deepening of cooperation between the two sides, more Hesai series products have been applied to Wenyuan Zhixing Mini Robobus, Robovan, Robosweeper and other new products.

Li Yifan, co-founder and CEO of Hesai, said:

"Wenyuan Zhixing is an innovation leader in global autonomous driving technology, with first-class automatic driving technology and a comprehensive commercial layout, and is fully promoting autonomous driving technology to market-oriented applications, and we are honored to help Wenyuan Zhixing accelerate this process through Hesai's latest semi-solid product AT128."

As of January 2022, Wenyuan Zhixing has accumulated more than 10 million kilometers of autonomous driving miles on public roads, with a fleet size of more than 300 vehicles, consisting of different models such as Robotaxi, Robobus, Robovan, Robosweeper and so on.

Wenyuan Zhixing's autonomous driving fleet is deployed at home and abroad, including Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Shanghai, Zhengzhou, Nanjing, Wuhan and Boao in China, San Francisco in the United States, Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates, etc., while carrying out normalized testing and operation services in many places.

Hesai AT128 semi-solid-state lidar

AT128 vehicle-grade semi-solid-state lidar adopts Hesai's unique chip technology, integrates 128 lasers internally, and achieves a global resolution of up to 1200x128 and a telemetry capability of 200 meters (10% reflectivity), which can capture the effective details of more objects in the field of vision, provide strong perception capabilities for high-level automatic driving, and further accelerate the iteration of autonomous driving algorithms.

At the same time, the AT128's highly integrated transceiver module and low-speed stable scanning structure make this product one of the most comprehensive and comprehensive semi-solid-state lidars on the market.

The AT128 is expected to be fully mass-produced in the second half of this year at the Maxwell Intelligent Manufacturing Center, which plans to have an annual production capacity of one million.
