On April 28th, the Shenzhen Marco Polo Men's Basketball Team 2021-22 season series of public welfare activities, guided by the Longgang District Culture, Radio, Television, Tourism and Sports Bureau, sponsored by Shenzhen New Century Basketball Club and supported by Shenzhen Urban Sports Development Foundation, was held in the Basketball Championship Basketball Hall of Yuanshan Street Security Community, and other people attended the activities of this site. The participants in this site are mainly recruited from longgang cultural and sports online and community offline, and are presented in the form of "basketball elite public welfare training course, U12 public welfare basketball confrontation competition and two-point and three-point shooting competition".
This series of activities continues the Shenzhen New Century Basketball Club in Shenzhen for many years, adhere to the public welfare basketball activities as a link, and constantly close the distance with citizens and friends, while scrupulously fulfilling the social responsibilities of professional basketball clubs, and actively promote the popularization and development of basketball among the masses. Shenzhen New Century Basketball Club has been in the community and campus for many consecutive off-seasons in the form of "shooting competition" to lead the masses to participate in basketball, spread basketball culture, in the fertile soil of Longgang, the "basketball city", cultivated a group of local loyal fans of the Shenzhen men's basketball team, Shenzhen men's basketball fan group continues to grow, and gradually formed an organized and large-scale fan group.
This station walked into the security community of Yuanshan Street, the club set up a shooting competition link with a low threshold for participation and wide popularity, driving community residents to participate in basketball sports and fitness, and the winner of the three-point shooting game also played a PK game with Shenzhen men's basketball player Rong Zifeng;
In addition, the club specially invited Liu Zhi, a former member of the U15 coaching group of the Chinese men's basketball team and a special expert of the Shenzhen New Century Leopards Elite Training Camp, as a teaching coach, bringing basketball elite public welfare training courses to young basketball fans in the community. After the special training class, the young players immediately applied the basketball skills and tactical knowledge they learned to the actual battle, showing their strength in the public welfare confrontation competition, which caused the crowd to applaud. At the end of the event, the club presented the signature ball of the Shenzhen Marco Polo Men's Basketball Team, and the participants also received generous prizes from Shenzhen Zhonghai Kaili Hotel, Migu Video, Li Ning and other units.
