On April 28, WULING Jiachen, a new MPV model under SAIC-GM-Wuling, officially opened pre-sale and will be listed in May. In terms of appearance, Wuling Jiachen continues the family silver label design language, adopts a new "wing movement aesthetics" design concept, highly recognizable brand-recognizable flying wing mid-net with tungsten photoelectric plating material double-layer grille, all use a straight waterfall-like structure for decoration, silver standard Wuling LOGO embedded in it, very layered; and the V-shaped layout extends from the middle to both sides, and then skillfully integrates with the split headlight design on both sides, creating a sense of regular interlacing. The two side headlight groups are connected to the grille, enhancing the sense of visual unity.
The body side chooses straight lines, with suspension modeling, the style is more fashionable; the lower edge of the window and the side skirt are equipped with chrome strips, with a penetrating waist line to make the visual effect appear slender and atmospheric, while effectively increasing the layering of the body side, but unfortunately, the new car is not equipped with MPV's iconic sliding door.
The tail shape adopts the same tail light group design of the stars, and blackens the treatment, is connected by chrome strips, the license plate frame adopts a concave design, the center is still chrome trim and engraved with the word "WULING", the lower surrounding part is also equipped with chrome strips, and the exhaust pipe adopts a hidden layout, which effectively increases the layering of the rear.
In terms of size, Wuling Jiachen has a length, width and height of 4785/1820/1760mm, and a wheelbase of 2760mm. The seats are arranged in 2+2+3 rows of 7 seats, and adopt a "theater step" layout, with a drop of 80mm per floor in the front, middle and rear rows, trying to ensure that each row of passengers get the same excellent vision and enjoy a comfortable seating space. If the third row of seats can be completely hidden under the floor, it is believed that it will be more favored by the market.

The design of the interior is biased towards a simple style, the new style of family steering wheel looks very dynamic, the traditional mechanical pointer with the central control center is a suspended large screen, the center of the center console is also wrapped in leather, and the central silver trim plate is matched with a number of high-brightness black trim plates, creating a good sense of grade.
In terms of configuration, the low-end version only has handbrake brakes, main/co-pilot airbags, tire pressure monitoring system, ordinary remote control keys, fabric seats, halogen far/low beam lights, manual air conditioning, etc., as for the body stabilization system, brake assist, uphill assist, central control screen, etc., are not equipped, and the rear brake type is a drum brake. From the past selection, the secondary top version should be the main model.
In terms of power, the new car has launched a total of 1.5L naturally aspirated and 1.5T turbocharged two sets of powertrains, of which the 1.5L naturally aspirated engine has a maximum power of 73kw and a maximum torque of 143N.m. The 1.5T turbocharged engine has a maximum power of 108 kW and a maximum torque of 250N.m; in terms of transmission, it is matched with a 6-speed manual transmission and a CVT stepless transmission respectively.
