Liu Yu, a docent, told reporters that in March this year, an exhibition of Mr. Liu Gengyang was held for the first time at the Zunyi Art Museum. In order to let more citizens understand and appreciate the works of Mr. Liu Gengyang, the characteristics of the exhibition of the Municipal Museum this time are "fine" and "complete". "Jing" is a selection of the highest artistic achievements in Mr. Liu Gengyang's existing collection, and "Quan" is a collection of works covering various periods from 1932 to 2000.
From Mr. Liu Gengyang's works, the exhibition selects more than 100 fine works such as letters, calligraphy, paintings, etc., showing Mr. Liu Gengyang's rich Life in Yantian for 90 years. In addition to calligraphy, paintings, documents, seals and other works, the exhibition also includes family letters collected from Daozhen by Mr. Liu Gengyang's family in the past two years. From the words of the family letter, you can feel that Mr. Liu Lao's daily life and emotional exchanges to his family, in addition to his love for the country and excellent traditional culture, there is also a trace of warmth for family affection.

Liu Gengyang Profile:
Also known as Geng Yang, the name of the spectrum is Chung Gao, and the nickname is Zhu Zhang. Born on April 14, 1906, Zunyi people. In 1924, he graduated from Zunyi Middle School and studied under Li Ciqian (Daokun), a Zunyi scholar in the late Qing Dynasty. In 1936, he became a teacher at Zunyi Girls' Middle School, and after 1949, he successively taught at Zunyi Middle School, Zunyi No. 2 Middle School, Zunyi Normal School, Zunyi No. 1 Middle School, and Zunyi Normal College. He retired in 1977. He died on 20 January 2001 at the age of 96. His surviving works include Selected Poems of Liu Gengyang, Miscellaneous Notes of Gengyang, Ninety Commemorations of Gengyang, Compilation, Four Supplements to the Ancient Texts of Shuowen, Diary of Liu Gengyang, and a number of calligraphy and painting works. Before his death, Mr. Liu Gengyang was a member of the China Democratic League, a member of the Chinese Calligraphers Association, an advisor to the Guizhou Calligraphers Association, an advisor to the Guizhou Poetry Society, an honorary chairman of the Zunyi District Literary Association, and an honorary chairman of the Zunyi District Calligraphers Association.
