GAC Toyota Motor Co., Ltd

Recalls 82,680 new Generation Highlander vehicles manufactured between April 19, 2021 and April 6, 2022, some brand new 4th-generation Highlander vehicles manufactured between July 24, 2021 and April 8, 2022, some Xena vehicles manufactured between December 4, 2021 and April 7, 2022, and some Weisa Dual Engine vehicles manufactured between February 28, 2022 and April 7, 2022.

FAW Toyota Motor Co., Ltd

Recalled a total of 40,770 Crown land-mounted vehicles manufactured between July 27, 2021 and April 7, 2022.

Sichuan FAW Toyota Motor Co., Ltd. Changchun Fengyue Company

Recall 11,133 vehicles of some RAV4 Rongfang vehicles manufactured between April 5, 2021 and March 12, 2022, and some Lingfang vehicles manufactured between October 25, 2021 and March 23, 2022.

The recall of some imported Lexus NX350h and NX400h+ vehicles manufactured between March 31, 2021 and April 1, 2022, and some imported Toyota MIRAI vehicles manufactured between August 2, 2021 and October 5, 2021, for a total of 4,316 vehicles.

Reason for the recall

Some vehicles within the scope of this recall due to the internal procedures of VSC (Body Stability Control System) are not perfect, if the driver artificially closes the VSC function when the vehicle is started, and maintains the state of pressing the brake pedal all the time, after the vehicle is turned off and restarted, vsC cannot automatically return to the initial default mode (open state), and at the same time, the VSC off prompt light on the dashboard is lit, at this time THE VSC may not play an effective role, there is a safety hazard.

Disposal measures

GAC Toyota Motor Co., Ltd., FAW Toyota Motor Co., Ltd., Sichuan FAW Toyota Motor Co., Ltd. Changchun Fengyue Company, and Toyota Motor (China) Investment Co., Ltd. will upgrade the internal procedures of the brake actuator control ECU for vehicles within the scope of the recall free of charge to eliminate safety hazards.

Emergency measures: Before recalling repairs, if the VSC OFF indicator light on the dashboard is lit after the vehicle restarts, the user can press the VSC OFF key as needed to manually turn on the VSC function.

Ferrari Automotive International Trading (Shanghai) Co., Ltd

Recall of some imported 458 and 488 series vehicles

Effective May 30, 2022, the recall of some imported 458 Italia, 458 Speciale, 458 Speciale A, 458 Spider, 488 GTB and 488 Spider series vehicles manufactured between March 2, 2010 and March 12, 2019, for a total of 2,222 vehicles.

Reason for the recall

Vehicles covered by this recall may potentially increase the risk of brake fluid leakage due to the inability of the lid of the brake fluid reservoir to ensure the proper ventilation required to maintain the atmospheric pressure in the tank, resulting in decreased braking performance or brake failure, and there is a safety hazard.

Disposal measures

Ferrari Automotive International Trading (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. will replace the improved brake fluid reservoir lid for vehicles covered by the recall free of charge, and reprogram the instrument to update the warning information when the brake fluid level is too low to eliminate safety hazards.

Emergency disposal measures: the user should drive the vehicle cautiously, if the instrument appears that the brake fluid level is too low warning light, it should be immediately and safely stopped, contact the Ferrari authorized maintenance center to arrange for the trailer to be towed back and free of charge inspection and maintenance.

Dongfeng Motor Co., Ltd

Recalled part of Dongfeng Nissan's new Qashqa

Effective April 22, 2022, the Company will recall a total of 1,752 New Qashqai vehicles of the Dongfeng Ri product brand produced from October 26, 2021 to October 30, 2021.

Reason for the recall

The front triangle arm of some vehicles within the scope of this recall is offset due to the welding position, resulting in the strength not meeting the requirements. In extreme cases, the welding part of the front triangle arm may crack due to external impact, causing the vehicle to suddenly deviate, and there is a safety hazard.

Disposal measures

Dongfeng Motor Co., Ltd. will check the production batch number of the front triangle arm for the vehicles within the scope of the recall, and replace the front triangle arm belonging to the risk batch free of charge to eliminate the safety hazard.

Domestic C-class car

The following vehicles will be recalled with effect today:

Recalls the recall of a portion of the imported AMG GT vehicles with a production date from January 22, 2021 to March 16, 2021, for a total of 2 units.

The recall recalls a total of 16 imported S-Class vehicles with production dates between September 10, 2021 and October 19, 2021.

The recall will be of 13 domestic C-class vehicles with production dates from July 13, 2021 to January 11, 2022.

Reason for the recall

Vehicles covered by this recall may cause damage to the front wheel speed sensor harness due to deviations during development, such as when the steering wheel is turned to the limit position or when the suspension is fully compressed/rebounded due to tension loads. This will lead to the failure of the vehicle dynamic control system, increasing the risk of collision accidents in the vehicle, and there are potential safety hazards.

The thrust arm brackets on the rear axle carriers of vehicles covered by this recall may not be welded as required. In extreme cases, the thrust arm bracket may detach from the rear axle carrier, affecting the handling of the vehicle and causing safety hazards.

The bolts of the vehicle's rear brake calipers within the scope of this recall may not be tightened according to the specified torque during the production process, resulting in the braking performance of the vehicle being affected. In extreme cases, the caliper may come loose, which does not exclude the possibility of damage to the rim and will affect the handling of the vehicle, which is a safety hazard.

Disposal measures

For vehicles covered by the recall, Mercedes-Benz (China) Automobile Sales Co., Ltd. will replace the improved front wheel speed sensor harness free of charge for the vehicles covered by the recall through an authorized Mercedes-Benz dealer to eliminate safety hazards.

Emergency measures: Before recalling maintenance, users are advised to avoid driving vehicles on the track, avoid driving vehicles fiercely to prevent the chassis suspension springs from being completely compressed, and avoid steering wheel rotation to the limit position when parking.

For vehicles within the scope of the recall, Mercedes-Benz (China) Automobile Sales Co., Ltd. will check the welding of the thrust arm bracket on the rear axle bracket of the vehicle within the scope of the recall through the authorized mercedes-Benz dealer, and if the welding is found to be poor, the rear axle bracket assembly will be replaced free of charge to eliminate the safety hazard.

Emergency measures: It is recommended that users immediately stop driving the vehicle and contact the authorized dealer to inspect and dispose of the vehicle.

For vehicles within the scope of the recall, Beijing Benz Automobile Co., Ltd. will replace the rear brake caliper bolts and brackets for the affected vehicles free of charge through a Mercedes-Benz authorized dealer, and ensure that the bolts are tightened according to the specified torque to eliminate safety hazards.

Emergency disposal measures: The user should immediately stop using the vehicle and contact the authorized dealer for disposal.
