This ruler written by Cai Xiang is also known as the "ChengxinTang Thesis". The Song Dynasty scholars paid attention to the taste of life, and were particularly sophisticated about the stationery utensils. Cai Xiang wrote this letter in order to entrust others to make or search for the famous paper in the paper- "Chengxintang" paper. "Chengxintang" paper originated from the Five Dynasties of the Southern Tang Dynasty, it is said that it is "skin like egg membrane, firm as jade, thin and smooth", in the Northern Song Dynasty is already quite precious and difficult to find famous paper. The paper quality of this handwriting is meticulous and smooth, and it is likely that Cai Xiang used it as a sample of "Chengxintang" paper.
The exquisite paper quality, coupled with Cai Xiang's beautiful and solemn ink, makes this "Cheng Xin Tang" post particularly elegant and moving. The whole text is written in line letters, the knot body is slightly flattened, the width between the lines is tight and appropriate, and every stroke and painting is very physical, workmanship and grace.
