The Hong sisters saw that it was difficult to persuade their brother to go down the mountain, so they had to leave the Shaolin Temple, but they were harassed by Hou Balii's gang on the road, but fortunately they got the help of Li Zhongzhou to repel the strong enemy.
Cai Xia shot Hou Balai blind in the left eye with a flying knife, but under the persuasion of Li Zhongzhou, they did not take Hou Balai's life, and hoped that he would be able to change from evil to righteousness.
Hou BaLai returns home with a serious injury, and his father Hou Lian (played by Qiu Fangjian) is furious when he sees his son injured, and secretly discusses revenge with his wife and nephew Wu Jian (played by Wang Jian).

Even though this movie is a good memory of our childhood, I would say it was a "bad movie"
Due to the geographical advantages of Henan Kaifeng Performance Company, the locations of shaolin temples and tallinns in this film are directly filmed in the Songshan Shaolin Temple, and many scenes are similar to the movie "Shaolin Temple".
However, the quality of the movie has a big gap with "Shaolin Temple", from the cast to the story arrangement are a big difference, obviously a movie that follows the trend.
First of all, the theme and intention of the story are obviously different.
"Shaolin Temple" is adapted from the story of the thirteen stick monks of the Shaolin Temple to save the King of Qin, although there is a personal vendetta between the monk Jueyuan and the villain Wang Renze in the film, the Shaolin monks save the King of Qin, and the struggle against the Sui general Wang Renze has a distinct anti-tyranny color, this theme is very grand.
On the other hand, in this film, Hong Jiaban and Hou Lian, Hou Balai's father and son are simple personal grudges, and they do not expand and sublimate a broader theme.
And the clear story line and distinctive character modeling like "Shaolin Temple" are not seen at all in this film.
There are many characters in the film, but the actions of these characters lack logic and have unclear motives.
The film began from the Hongjiaban to the Kaifeng Xiangguo Temple, Hou Balai has been chasing them, where the Hongjiaban went, Hou Balai's people followed wherever they went, why they had to chase after them, and there was no serious explanation in the film.
The character of Li Zhongzhou is obviously the male protagonist, always appearing when he is needed, but his behavior is also elusive.
For example, the Hong family sisters and Hou Badai had a vendetta against their father, but he persuaded the two sisters to let Hou Badai go.
However, when he appeared in the front, he seemed to have high martial arts skills, but he was easily caught by Hou Lian's men in the back, and after being seriously injured in the cell, he missed the climactic martial arts scene, and the second half of the film had no sense of existence at all.
Similar to Li Zhongzhou's figure, there is also a righteous soldier Tian Zhigao.
He appears in the second half of the film and saves the heroine Caiyun, who later dies in a fight with Hou Lian's father and son.
But this character did not have a plot to explain his background from appearance to the time he received the bento, but suddenly appeared like a tool man to share part of the play.
However, the choreography of the martial arts drama, which is the highlight of the movie, is not as elaborate as in "Shaolin Temple".
Each fight scene in "Shaolin Temple" is carefully choreographed, including the scene where the monk Jueyuan practiced in four scenes in spring, summer, autumn and winter, and also found the top martial arts athletes in the country at that time to do the double shooting.
Looking at the martial arts of this film, it seems to be a lot more casual, and the martial arts action can obviously see the traces of routine orchestration, which is soft and spongy, and lacks the sense of strength that a martial arts film should have.

The director also does not seem to know how to light the actors, it is still natural light, the faces of the actors are often large shadows, and beautiful heroines like Ding Lan often become Africans because of backlighting, and these shortcomings are not enough.

Perhaps it is precisely because of these obvious shortcomings that this film, along with the various mainland action films of the same period, has become a mediocre work that has been eliminated by the times.
Many actors in the film have a kung fu foundation and also use their hearts to shape the role, but they fail to impress the audience because of the problem of the script itself, and in the end, they did not go out of their own acting path because of the movie.
Pi Ge is more impressed by Cui Yi, who plays the dust monk, although his performance is young, he strives to create the witty and funny temperament of the character, and is the only more brilliant character in this film.
But after this movie, Cui Yi has not appeared in other movies, not in this circle, and there is no news of him.
Nie Jianguo, who plays Zhuan Hong, is actually an athlete of the Henan Wushu team, and is now the head coach and national coach of the Henan Wushu team.
He only starred in this one movie, and then quit the film and television industry.
