At the symposium, the State Administration of Cultural Heritage introduced the research background and main contents, and Yu Jinsheng, secretary general of the Art Committee of the China Auction Association, reported on the current situation of the mainland cultural relics and art auction market, the tax situation and existing problems of the import (territory) of cultural relics and artworks, and put forward specific policy suggestions. Chen Hongtao, Chief Financial Officer of China Guardian, introduced the forms of art finance at home and abroad, the practice of China Guardian in art finance, and made suggestions on how government departments can support the development of art finance.

Jin Ruiguo, deputy director of the State Administration of Cultural Heritage, affirmed the positive contributions made by the China Auction Association in promoting the development of the cultural relics market, the optimization of tax policies, and the revision of the Cultural Relics Protection Law over the years. He said that the cultural relics department will continue to simplify administration and decentralize power and optimize services based on public collection, market development, and the influence of Chinese cultural relics.
