On April 21, Changan Automobile officially released the Changan Deep Blue brand, which not only replaced the previously slightly mediocre Changan New Energy, but also established a new beginning for the development of the new era of intelligent electric power and the form of multi-energy supplementation. Changan Deep Blue positioning digital intelligent electric brand, the name symbolizes exploration, life, technology, the future, it will provide four major brand values for new energy users of Generation Z, including: innovative reconstruction, internet of everything, experience free and low-carbon life.
At the same time, Changan Deep Blue brought the brand's first all-electric digital platform - EPA1, which in addition to having a highly compatible and highly flexible layout form, also has a domain-controlled electronic and electrical architecture, two-wheel drive and four-drive force forms with the rear drive as the core, and multi-energy supplemental forms including pure electricity, extended range and hydrogen fuel. The first product born from the EPA1 platform will be the C385 that has been warmed up for a long time, and the name is officially set as "Changan Deep Blue C385" this time.
Changan Deep Blue EPA1 all-electric digital platform
Changan Deep Blue All-Electric Digital Platform is a special platform for electric drives in the form of multi-energy replenishment that has been honed over five years, with four high attributes: the electrical efficiency of the extreme power system drive; the high performance of the four-wheel drive in the future; the high intelligence based on the domain-controlled electronic and electrical architecture; and the high safety of the three-layer protection of the core car cloud.
Changan's new generation of super-collector electric drives continue to promote the development of electric drives to high power density, contributing lower energy consumption levels to the whole vehicle. The drive motor of the EPA1 platform will adopt eight-layer flat wire winding technology and the rotor dual-V topology configuration, which will increase the driving efficiency by 1.3%. At the same time, the adaptive electronic control algorithm adapted to the electric drive system and the ultra-low resistance wire make the whole system up to 95% efficient.
The EPA1 platform is later driven to the gene, while taking into account the extreme performance of the four-wheel drive. According to the actual measurement of the C385 model, it takes only 5.9 seconds for the rear single 190kW drive motor to break the hundred, and the future dual-motor model product is expected to enter the 3-second club. In terms of improving the driving experience, the new car will also offer H-arm multi-link independent suspension, front and rear 50:50 counterweights, and exclusive power tuning for motor drive characteristics.
In terms of intelligence, the EPA1 platform adopts three domain control architectures and supports SOA service expansion. Intelligent vehicle domain controller "Changan Wisdom Core", is the first deep domain control chip fully autonomously launched in China, the whole vehicle OTA under the domain control supports the upgrade of all node controllers of the whole vehicle, the speed of the vehicle control domain software upgrade is ≤ 3min, and the cockpit and software adopt partition design to avoid the failure of the vehicle upgrade, resulting in vehicle suspension / commonly used and new experience. The smart cockpit part will use Qualcomm 8155 chip, providing rapid operational response speed and ecological expansion capabilities. The intelligent driver assistance part can achieve up to the L4 level of full automation, and it is expected that the pilot driving assistance based on high-precision maps and the fully automatic memory parking function can be realized on the C385.
The EPA1 platform also launched for the first time a micro-core high-frequency pulse heating to improve the experience of low-temperature vehicles, through random frequency conversion IGBT opening and closing control and high-frequency pulse and NVH balance algorithm, in the -30 °C environment, the vehicle's low-temperature power is increased by 50%, and the low-temperature charging time is shortened by 15%, which greatly alleviates the experience of electric vehicles in extremely cold weather.
Finally, the EPA1 platform also takes into account the three forms of energy replenishment with electric drive as the core, namely pure electric, extended range hybrid and hydrogen fuel. Range extender power system is the first domestic mass production of sedan range extender power, range extender using high compression ratio and Atkinson cycle, with real-time road conditions based on the energy management system, can achieve 1L oil power generation of about 3.3 degrees, the whole area of sensorless operation. Changan Deep Blue C385 is the first model under the EPA1 platform, which integrates Changan Automobile's many years of industry experience and technology precipitation, and integrates international top suppliers and cutting-edge digital technology new talents. The new car will launch three power models: pure electric version, extended range version and hydrogen fuel cell version, equipped with many industry-leading technology and intelligent technology configurations, to build a cutting-edge travel experience for users.
Changan Deep Blue C385 is designed in a cutting-edge technology style, and the vehicle uses a large number of sharp lines, which is very aggressive. In terms of details, the front face of the new car adopts a grilleless design, split headlights, and the front cover has a large bulge to create a sense of power. Concealed door handles, two-tone low-wind resistance wheels, and blackened window trims have been added to the sides.
The C385 has body dimensions of 4820/1890/1480mm, a wheelbase of 2900mm, a aspect ratio of 0.78 and a shaft length ratio of 0.6. The body data is larger than the Model 3, and the wheelbase has exceeded the standard of B-class cars, almost reaching the level of C-class cars.
