Hao Lulu said in her speech: "This year marks the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Hungary and China, and also the 50th anniversary of the invention of the Rubik's Cube. The Rubik's Cube is not only an intellectual game, but also a tool for cultural exchange across national borders. It is hoped that through this competition, the friendship between Hungary and China will be deeper and the cultural exchanges will be closer. ”

It is understood that since 1974, when El Norn Rubik, a professor at the Budapest School of Architecture in Hungary, invented the Rubik's Cube, this puzzle sport has been popular among young people around the world. The Rubik's Cube can not only exercise children's hand, eye and brain coordination, spatial geometry and logical thinking ability, but also enhance their self-confidence, concentration and social skills.

The Beijing branch competition is divided into four groups: U8 group, U10 group, U12 group and open group according to age. In the preliminary round of each group, the Rubik's Cube was restored 3 times to get the fastest result, and the top 50% entered the semi-finals; The semi-final restores the Rubik's Cube 5 times, removes the fastest and slowest scores, and the average of the middle three results is the final result, according to the ranking of the semi-final results, 10% of the total number of participants in the group will be given the first prize, 15% will be awarded the second prize, and 25% will be set up the third prize.

A total of 141 players signed up for the Beijing branch competition, and the children showed their concentration and determination beyond their age in the competition, and finally 38 of them successfully advanced to the regional competition.

Liu Hu, the executive director of the competition and president of the Chongqing Rubik's Cube Association, said that the first China-Hungary Youth International Rubik's Cube Open is divided into three parts: city sub-competition (preliminary round), regional competition and finals, and this game is one of more than 60 city sub-station competitions in the country.
