The meeting pointed out that in 2021, under the correct leadership of the district party committee and the government, the anti-narcotics work of the whole region closely focuses on the task of the safety and security center for the 100th anniversary of the founding of the party, with the theme of rectifying and highlighting the drug problem and creating a national anti-drug demonstration city, focusing on improving the level of grass-roots drug control capabilities, and achieving "two consecutive rises" in the year-end assessment results in the ranking of the whole autonomous region, driving the overall public security situation to continue to improve, laying a good foundation for the harmony and stability of the overall social situation in the jurisdiction.
The meeting stressed that the Twentieth National Congress of the Communist Party of China and the Thirteenth Party Congress of the Autonomous Region will be held this year, and in order to effectively reduce the social harm of narcotics and ensure the harmony and stability of the overall situation is the primary task of this year's anti-narcotics work, all departments and units should further clarify their tasks, highlight the key points, and resolutely guard against the occurrence of cases of illegal manufacture of narcotics and narcotic substances, the occurrence of large-scale cases of illegal cultivation of narcotic plants, the occurrence of incidents of accidents caused by drug addicts with bad influence, and the occurrence of major illegal and criminal cases caused by drug addicts who have run out of control. The meeting demanded: First, we should unify our thinking, enhance our understanding, resolutely win the people's war against narcotics, fully understand the protracted, complex, and arduous nature of the anti-narcotics work, resolutely put an end to the paralyzing mentality and lax mentality, earnestly place the anti-narcotics work in a prominent position and do a good job in a down-to-earth manner with an attitude of being highly responsible to the state and the people, find out the gaps and make up for the shortcomings in light of the requirements for the creation of anti-narcotics demonstration cities throughout the country, and strive to create a new situation in the anti-narcotics work in the new era in Dawukou District. The second is to grasp the key points, clarify the goals, and make every effort to promote the in-depth development of the anti-narcotics work. First, we must unswervingly adhere to the whole chain of attacks. Public security organs should focus on "cracking major cases, cracking down on gangs, destroying networks, catching drug lords, and paying drug funds", continue to maintain a high-pressure and severe crackdown on drug-related illegal and criminal activities, effectively enhance their ability to crack down on cases and tackle tough cases, and ensure the completion of the tasks of anti-drug law enforcement and investigation and punishment. Second, it is necessary to implement measures for controlling and helping education. Third, we must vigorously grasp all-round support. The anti-narcotics work is highly professional and dangerous, and it is necessary to build a professional contingent that is politically firm, proficient in its work, has a strong work style, and is strictly disciplined.
