(Chengdu Universiade Chronicle) Robot Service Universiade: Automatic environmental disinfection, navigation accuracy of up to 5 mm

Chengdu, April 16 (Reporter Wang Peng) "I am a special robot for Chengdu Universiade events, and I have the functions of accurate positioning and guidance!" On the 16th, more than 70 days before the opening of the Chengdu Universiade, the reporter of China News Network saw 3 "Rongbao" robots customized for the Universiade in The Tianfu New Area of Sichuan.

The reporter learned that the "Science and Technology Universiade", as a highlight of this Universiade, is full of innovative high-tech wind in terms of competition venue construction and service facilities. Among them, the three "Rongbao" robots are one of the highlights.

With a height of 2 meters and 6 screens, this is the most prominent feature of the DY-RS18 race robot. According to Wang Guobing, the head of the business department of Chengdu Ruileda Technology Co., Ltd., the robot is mainly for the event, with a two-dimensional code recognizer, which can be used by three people to interact with or touch at the same time, and can be privatized for multilingual voice interaction.

"Dingdong, your QR code has been recognized, you will have a badminton match in two and a half hours" "Dingdong, The toilet you're looking for is located precisely for you"... In the application scenario, as long as the athlete places the QR code in front of the robot to scan, it can automatically receive event prompts and navigation. In terms of operation, the robot can run for 8 hours in full power and reach a speed of 1m/s.

Another DY-RS01 "Rongbao" image robot, inspired by the Chengdu Universiade mascot 'Rongbao', has a 27-inch touch display and can also be sensed through infrared recognition to achieve "contactless" long-distance body temperature detection. What's more, there is also an emergency AED rescue package behind it.

In addition, the reporter also saw an RS-07EP killing robot, which will perform disinfection tasks in some Universiade venues in the future. Wang Guobing said that the sterilizer atomization particles of this killing robot are very small, and the adjacent machine does not need to worry about being wet by water vapor or disinfectant.

"The chassis of this robot is equipped with vision sensors and lidar, which is equivalent to two 'eyes'." Wang Guobing said that lidar can scan the road ahead, and vision sensors can help robots accurately plan routes in complex environments, and the combination of the two allows robots to easily avoid obstacles and perform killing tasks efficiently and reasonably.

Wang Guobing told reporters that Chengdu Ruileda is China's first robot company based on the self-developed chassis of high-precision navigation algorithm built by NVIDIA ISAAC architecture, the operation speed is more than 2.5 times higher than that of similar product systems, and its original binocular vision + lidar fusion algorithm will improve the robot navigation accuracy from 10cm to 5mm, which is the highest level in the industry.

"What is the concept of 5mm navigation accuracy?" For example, the robot will send medals and mascots to the award guests at that time, which can be just delivered to the guests, just like people handing them over. Wang Guobing said. (End)
