Introduction to the lecture
Traditional Chinese gardens share the same cultural roots as traditional Chinese painting. The combination of garden architectural culture and landscape painting has formed landscape poetry and landscape prose. Wang Qijun, a professor at the Central Academy of Fine Arts, graduated from Tsinghua University with a doctorate. Director of the Humanities and Social Sciences Center of the School of Urban Design of the Central Academy of Fine Arts, Researcher of the Institute of Oriental Mural Painting of the School of Painting of the China Academy of Art, Overseas Visiting Scholar of Peking University, Vice President of the Ancient Garden Architecture Research Association of the China Yuanmingyuan Society.
