Sponsored by the China Garden Museum, the "Only Brick and Stone Garden - Collection of Han Dynasty Cultural Relics Exhibition" came to an end today, and the exhibits such as "Four Gods Wadang", "Changle Weiyang Wadang", "Sixteen Character Inscription Brick", "Changxin Cang Seal Mud", "Luna Portrait Brick" and other exhibits attracted many visitors to visit the card.
For the first time, this exhibition will focus on the collection of 220 Han Dynasty cultural relics, narrated from three units, hoping to show the audience the garden fashion of the Han Dynasty through exquisite pictures and simple utensils, and then feel the profundity of China's excellent traditional culture.

1. Capital City Palace Garden
As early as 2,000 years ago, the Han people already knew how to combine skills and art in the construction of gardens to create an ideal home.
The capital city - Chang'an City
Chang'an was the capital of the Western Han Dynasty, and Han Gaozu built the Changle Palace on the basis of the Qin Xingle Palace in the fifth year (202 BC). In the seventh year of Gaozu (200 BC), Weiyang Palace was built, and the capital was moved here in the same year.

They were unearthed in a group of ceremonial buildings in Chang'an City, in Chinese folk culture, the four gods have the role of warding off evil, avoiding disasters, praying for blessings, during the Two Han Dynasties, the four elephants evolved into the gods believed in Taoism, so the four elephants are also called the four spirits.
Palace Garden
The palace garden is the most representative garden of the Han Dynasty, under the influence of strong national strength and the complementary influence of Confucian and Taoist ideas, the royal palace garden was built majestically and on a huge scale, with towers, pavilions, water pavilions, and cloisters built on the mountain, like a fairyland.

From weiyang palace, Changle Palace, arsenal and other palaces and imperial tomb buildings, it is the exclusive tile of the emperor's palace, which means that happiness is endless, and at the same time highlights the meaning of "king and subject long harmony" of the emperor's self-motivation.

2. Society and Life
The Han people condensed real-life stories, scenes, hopes, wishes, etc. into prayers or totem images, and carved them into words or patterns on the roof ridge, tiles and other architectural components. The Immortal Wuji Wadang is from the ruins of the Jiaofang Hall of Weiyang Palace and the architectural site of the Gui Palace, expressing the good will of the Han people to pursue eternal life and bless life with eternity and infinity.

3. Immortality
The economic prosperity, political stability and open-mindedness of the Han Dynasty created people's desire to pursue immortality, and a large number of patterns reflecting the culture of the gods appeared in the patterns of portrait bricks.
Under the influence of the concept of "heaven and man induction", the Han people believe that god controls the entire universe, so in the tomb, a fixed design pattern containing heaven, earth, man, and god is formed, showing the customs and habits of the Han Dynasty.
