On February 20, after eight years of construction, the new site of Henan Yu Theater and the Yu Opera Grand Theater were officially inaugurated. The Official Use of the Yu opera Grand Theater means that Henan has added a new cultural landmark, which will further enrich the cultural life of the citizens.
Yu Opera Grand Theater is located at the intersection of Luyimiao Avenue and Meixiu Road in Zhengzhou City, with a total investment of 120 million yuan, a total area of 2.4406 hectares, and a total construction area of 16,681 square meters, including business complex building, grand theater, small theater, VIP hall, study experience hall, Yu opera museum, rehearsal hall, staff restaurant, underground parking lot, etc. It is a large-scale comprehensive cultural venue integrating daily rehearsals, creative performances, art exhibitions, exchanges and displays, etc., and a special research base for Yu opera.
