Yu Opera Grand Theater is located at the intersection of Luyimiao Avenue and Meixiu Road in Zhengzhou City, with a total investment of 120 million yuan, a total area of 2.4406 hectares, and a total construction area of 16,681 square meters, including business complex building, grand theater, small theater, VIP hall, study experience hall, Yu opera museum, rehearsal hall, staff restaurant, underground parking lot, etc.
In the future, it will be built into a large-scale comprehensive cultural venue and a research base for Yu opera characteristics that integrate daily rehearsals, creative performances, art exhibitions, exchanges and displays.
Henan Yu Theater is the "bellwether" of the national Yu opera performance troupe
Henan is a major province of Yu opera and the birthplace of Yu opera art. As an important part of the Yellow River culture, Yu opera is the largest local drama species in the mainland, covering 13 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities across the country, and there are 163 professional Yu theater troupes in the country.
Henan Yu Theater is the "bellwether" of the national Yu opera performance troupe. Since its inception, it has been committed to the prosperous development and dissemination of Yu opera art.
