Compared with calls under 2G/3G/4G networks, the 5G VoNR ultra-clear video call function can make full use of the low latency and ultra-broadband features of 5G networks, bringing users the advantages of ultra-low latency, 720p ultra-clear image quality, no traffic consumption and one-click video calls.
OPPO announced on April 13 that the recent OPPO 5G mobile phone will be able to perfectly support China Mobile's launch for different users: 5G VoNR ultra-clear video call, 5G video customer service, barrier-free communication function, screen sharing, remote collaboration, AR fun call, interactive ringtone, and other functions.
It is reported that since the beginning of the year, OPPO and China Mobile have cooperated to carry out the terminal-side test sweeping work of VoNR (Voice over New Radio). In close cooperation with partners, OPPO has completed the traversality test of VoNR and the dragnet test of more than 20 cities across the country, smoothly promoting the successful commercialization of VoNR.
In the process of joint debugging VoNR, OPPO actively discovers and solves end-network problems, ensures user experience and terminal quality, and allows users to enjoy the new voice and video experience brought by 5G networks.
At present, the prefecture-level urban networks in 30 provinces in China have supported the VoNR function. OPPO mobile phone users will not need any operation, China Mobile will automatically open the 5G VoNR ultra-clear video call function for the owner, dial video calls can be used directly, consume domestic voice minutes, no additional charge, but also do not consume data traffic.
OPPO said that in the future, it will continue to work with operator partners to explore and optimize more 5G application scenarios through close collaboration and joint testing, so as to create a better technology experience for consumers.
