With the Zen3 Ryzen™ 5000 processors falling to historic low prices, there's reason to believe that the Zen4 Ryzen™7000 has entered a tightly prepared schedule. Moreover, there have been exposés who have given the latest news that they will be put into production at the end of this month and listed in August to September.
The outline of Zen4 seems to be becoming clearer.
In the final "Meet The Experts" webcast, AMD and Samsung experts look back on the past when the two worked closely together and gave previews and outlooks on the future.
Among them, JOSEPH Tao, AMD Memory Project Manager, disclosed that our first generation of DDR5 gaming platform was Raphael (Raphael, Zen4 Ryzen™ 7000 family code name), and its overclocking performance has made an incredible leap forward.
The outside world thinks that overclocking here means CPU and memory, for the former, AMD has achieved the amazing feat of full-core 5GHz in the first Zen4 demonstration. As for the latter, high frequency is the innate attribute of DDR5, and AMD already has RAMP overclocking technology built specifically for the AM5 platform.
For enterprise-class products, Samsung's PPT shows that Zen4 EPYC Genoa has a maximum of 96 cores, supports 12 channels of DDR5 memory, and a single maximum of 512GB+.
