At 2:30 p.m. on April 7, after a series of methodical preparations, Li Ping, head nurse of the hemodialysis room of the South Branch of Renji Hospital, and Chai Dongxue, a nurse, welcomed their first patient after the opening of the designated hospital, Mr. Mao (pseudonym), a hemodialysis patient who tested positive for new crown. "The old man has not had hemodialysis for three or four days, but fortunately his vital signs were stable when he was sent to the hospital." Li Ping recalled, "But I can still feel that the patient is very anxious, the whole person is like a tight spring, constantly emphasizing that in order to do hemodialysis, these days do not dare to eat or drink." ”

Li Ping, head nurse of the hemodialysis room of the South Branch of Renji Hospital, performed hemodialysis for the patients.

For hemodialysis patients, regular dialysis can maintain life. Register information, measure vital signs, blood pressure, heart rate and weight, and perform hemodialysis. Mr. Mao, who was originally restless, saw the continuous circulation of blood in the machine catheter before he completely relaxed his heart and called his family to report that he was safe.

"When I first got on the hemodialysis machine, the patient kept looking up at our medical staff and slept peacefully after an hour." Chai Dongxue said that the patient was transported from other hospitals, coupled with the anxiety caused by the lack of hemodialysis for a long time before, Mr. Mao's mood fluctuated. The nurses introduced the situation of the designated hospital to Mr. Mao in detail, helped him reduce his strangeness, and arranged follow-up hemodialysis treatment for him.

In the pediatric ward on the tenth floor of the hospital, the ward is also equipped with a large and a small parent-child bed. The ward is jointly managed by the Children's Hospital Affiliated to Fudan University, Shanghai Children's Hospital, Shanghai Children's Medical Center affiliated to Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine, and Renji Hospital.

Care for the child.

Zhou Yiyun, head nurse of the Joint Ward of Cardiology and Hematology of RenjinAn Hospital, is responsible for the nursing of adult patients in the ward. She revealed that before the designated hospital accepted parent-child families, the ward has done a good job of relevant transformation, changing the original adult ward into a family-style ward, with a large and a small bed, which can be used for centralized treatment of children and parents, avoiding the problem of parent-child separation. At window steps and other places, eye-catching signs are set up to remind parents to pay attention to the safety of children.

"The preparation was good, and the first few families admitted were quickly arranged to enter the ward." Zhou Yiyun said.

As of 2 p.m. on April 10, the southern branch of Renji Hospital has opened up 11 wards to treat patients with new coronary pneumonia with underlying diseases, involving respiratory, hemodialysis, obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics, etc., with a total of 588 patients, including 13 hemodialysis patients and nearly 200 pediatric patients.
