However, in the screening, diagnosis and prevention of eye, ear, nose and throat diseases, China is facing a lot of pressure: insufficient investment in medical resources and uneven distribution; traditional optical microscopes cannot be recorded, transmitted and shared, and cannot meet the needs of remote diagnosis and treatment and AI intelligent analysis, making most blinding eye diseases unable to be screened in time and cannot be detected and treated early.

The advent of 5G technology is solving these problems, so that patients in remote areas can also be covered by Shanghai's high-quality medical resources. Through cooperation with Shanghai Telecom, the Affiliated Eye, Ear, Nose and Throat Hospital of Fudan University took the lead in building a naked-eye 3D slit lamp remote diagnosis and treatment platform relying on Telecom's 5G network, realizing the first naked-eye 3D remote diagnosis and treatment in China.

The traditional slit lamp microscope has a major defect in video transmission losing three-dimensional vision, and the 5G remote diagnosis and treatment platform built by the Affiliated Eye, Ear, Nose and Throat Hospital of Fudan University allows the naked-eye 3D ophthalmic slit lamp microscope to simulate human eye observation on the basis of the existing slit lamp microscope, collect the images of the left and right eyes respectively, and after transcoding and 5G transmission, project them on the remote naked-eye 3D display without delay to reproduce the 3D visual images. The combination of telecom 5G network transmission and naked-eye 3D ophthalmic slit light examination equipment can improve the accuracy and reliability of diagnosis, and doctors can control the examination process, and they want to see which range of the patient's eye can communicate online and transmit the picture in real time, truly realizing the remote "face-to-face" of doctors and patients.

To this end, Shanghai Telecom and the Children's Hospital affiliated to Fudan University pioneered the 5G + blockchain application integration model, relying on the advantages of 5G private network and blockchain characteristics, established the country's first 5G emergency referral system for difficult and critically ill newborns, turning 120 ambulances into consultation centers to help children achieve "admission to the hospital on the bus", and can also get expert diagnosis and treatment in ambulances.

The Children's Hospital of Fudan University has rich experience and resources in the treatment of difficult and critical newborns, and as early as 2002, the hospital began to receive the transport of severe newborns. However, due to the differences in the system between different hospitals, data exchange between hospitals has been delayed. Shanghai Telecom and the Children's Hospital Affiliated to Fudan University have cooperated to establish a collaborative and secure sharing platform for children's information between the pediatric hospital, the referral hospital and the municipal 120 emergency center to ensure the safe use and high-speed transmission of information and data in the whole process of referral.

People are impressed by the "clever move" of small business owners, but in fact, the product testing link cannot be "clever", because it cannot guarantee the accuracy of quality inspection, nor can it guarantee that other problems will not be derived. However, after 5G is launched, it gives full play to its own characteristics of low latency, large bandwidth, massive connections, etc., combined with machine vision, artificial intelligence and other technologies, and trains it into a "golden eye of fire" to help enterprises simplify complexity and make difficulties easy in product inspection, so as to achieve cost reduction and efficiency.

In large steel mills, how to complete the surface defect detection in the first time of steel plate rolling, so that the waste products do not occupy the logistics in the field, is a problem that enterprises are extremely concerned about.

In order to find out the steel plate with surface defects in time, Baowu Group, where Baosteel works, has deployed steel surface inspection equipment in hundreds of production lines, and algorithm servers are deployed nearby. However, this method still faces some challenges, such as cumbersome installation and deployment, and it takes half a year for a production line to install, deploy, debug, and stabilize. Follow-up inspection and maintenance of equipment also need to apply for a specific time to invite a professional team to implement, time, personnel costs and efficiency can not be controlled. For the production line without the installation of table inspection equipment, it can only be inspected by manual naked eye, which is inefficient and has a high rate of missed inspections.

In order to solve the problem, Shanghai Telecom and Baosteel cooperated to create an industrial vision application based on 5G + TSN (time-sensitive network) + new timestamp fusion. In the pickling workshop 502 production line that has been put into trial operation, it looks like a traditional quality inspection equipment on the outside, but in fact, it integrates 5G, MEC, time-sensitive network, and optical fiber communication technology behind it.

Ultra-high-definition images at any point are acquired through dual-camera stereoscopic imaging, and eight 2K cameras work at the same time, and after 4 times compression, they are transmitted to the MEC deployed in the factory through an upstream bandwidth of more than 500M network in 11.5 milliseconds. Moreover, through the timing ability of the 5G base station, the timestamp of the 8 frame images marked with the generated moment is correlated, and each frame of the image is analyzed independently, and the 8 correlation results are synthesized into the final detection conclusion of the steel plate, which meets the requirements for the steel plate to be tested at the first time after the rolling is completed. After the defect is found, the system calculates the production line and location of the defective steel plate according to the timestamp, and issues a steel cutting stop instruction to the PCS within 4 milliseconds through the highly stable TSN network.
