Some time ago, I opened the Geely Xingrui car, and today I took the time to talk about the use of this car.
Geely Shingrui has been listed for some time now, during which I also participated in the listing conference of geely Shingrui Space-time Edition. Because it was only a launch conference, there was no opportunity to test drive.
But as the old saying goes, "Good food is not afraid of late", and half a year later, I still drove this car.
I believe that people who often pay attention to cars should not be unfamiliar with this car, so let's get to the point and talk about some of my driving experiences with it.
Of course, if there are still small partners who do not understand this car, then there is no need to worry, and when I talk about driving later, I will also talk about the feelings of other aspects of this car.
The first is the power, Geely Xingrui is the only car in the same class and price point equipped with a 2.0T engine, which can burst out 190Ps and 300N·m. This power output is relatively large in the same level, for example, the more famous Civic 1.5T engine has a horsepower output of 182Ps.
So how does Xingrui's car drive? Put it this way, on accelerating it can definitely enter the top three, and the body sensation should be within 8 seconds. But if you say how fast this acceleration is, it's not enough, just a car that is fast in the same class. Then daily driving is definitely enough, and there is no pressure to overtake in parallel lines.
The change matching is in place, there is no frustration at low speeds, and the smoothness of the gear change is also OK. The daily slow opening, the gearbox is still very obedient.
Next, let's talk about its space, sitting in the back row with my height and weight, in fact, I don't feel how spacious the rear space of Xingrui is, compared with other models in the same class, it is the same level, such as Langyi, Sagittarius, Bora, Corolla, Xuanyi and so on.
The luxury of the interior design is better than the above models, and the size of the central control screen, the color of the center console and the materials for skinning are also better than the above models.
However, its gear handle shape is a little different from the overall interior style, and a simple yacht stall stands on the center console to look a little abrupt. Switching to a pushbutton or knob shift mechanism should improve the look and feel.
In terms of sound insulation, the engine roar will be more obvious under the condition of medium and high speed. However, this is also normal, and this phenomenon will also occur in the same price point and even the joint venture B-class car. Tire noise and wind noise isolation is still good, and engine vibration control is also very good.
The chassis has a certain texture, after some undulating bumps on the road surface filter effect is better, the vibration transmitted to the steering wheel is also very small, and the sense of high-grade is still satisfied in the case of slow opening.
Finally, talking about energy consumption, this 2.0T engine needs to be filled with No. 95 gasoline, and the total fuel consumption level is at the same level and price point, basically there is no advantage at all, and the comprehensive fuel consumption of NEDC is 6.7L/100KM.
In terms of price, geely Xingrui's price range is 113,700-15.27 million, which is almost consistent with the mainstream joint venture brand A-class cars, such as the common Corolla, Xuanyi, Langyi and other models. By looking at its sales volume, it was found that Geely Xingrui could sell tens of thousands of units a month, indicating that the launch of this car was successful and was not afraid of the status of a joint venture brand.
Just as the so-called "Wu Wu second, Wen Wu first", at the test drive site, the activity party also arranged a competitive car for Xingrui, which is sagitar from the Volkswagen brand.
Driving two cars back and forth on the same route, Sagitar has advantages in shift speed and fuel consumption compared to Xingrui, especially in the fuel consumption, Sagittarius speed in the case of more than thirty kilometers per hour, the gearbox has been upgraded to four gears, and the gearbox is not only fast but also very positive.
However, perhaps due to the low base displacement, sagittarius at low revs (within about 1350 rpm), engine shake will be transmitted to the steering wheel and seats, so the comfort and premium sense is relatively poor. It is speculated that the manufacturer engineer deliberately calibrated this way in order to save more fuel.
However, for the users who buy this car, this slight jitter has little impact on them, after all, fuel saving is king, especially in the current high oil price environment.
In addition to the advantages of Sagitar in the above two aspects, the rest of the aspects are inferior to Xingrui, such as driving sense, interior sense, steering feel and so on.

To tell the truth, I still drive relatively few mainstream or non-mainstream A-class cars in China, so I can't figure out how competitive Geely Xingrui is. But from the two cars I test-drove, Geely Xingrui is better than Sagitar in many ways.
But if you asked me personally to make a choice between these two cars, I would choose Sagittarius. The reason is very short answer, I bought this level of car will figure it leather durable, fuel-efficient, brand and space these aspects. And Sagittarius just in these aspects can satisfy me, especially the leather is durable (of course, the early Sagitar is not ah, interested friends can search for "broken shaft door"). As a car that needs to be used regularly, reliability is greater than anything else.
However, for friends who are not very sensitive to fuel consumption, and have requirements for vehicle configuration, design and power, then Geely Xingrui is a good choice.
