Recently, CDPR officially announced the return to the "Wizard" series to develop new works, but the development of this new work CDPR has abandoned its own RED engine and switched to Unreal 5. In response, CDPR Game Director Jason Slama re-explained the use of the Unreal 5 game engine.

Jason Slama said: "The Unreal Engine 5 game engine is more balanced and stable, changing at least one place will not completely destroy 1600 other places, and when comparing open-world games to linear games, players can move in any direction they want, and we consider a lot more situations than linear games."
