Tesla sold 310,000 vehicles in the first quarter of 2022 and has built more than 320,000 superchargers

On the evening of April 2, Tesla (TSLA.NASDAQ) released its first quarter 2022 delivery report, saying that more than 310,000 vehicles were delivered worldwide.

In terms of models, in the first quarter, Tesla sold a total of 295324 Model 3 and Model Y electric vehicles, while delivering 14,724 Model S and Model X.

On the production side, in China, in January and February 2022, the export volume of Shanghai Super Factory reached 40,500 and 33,315 vehicles, respectively; domestic sales were 59,846 units and 56,515 vehicles, respectively. Outside of China, Tesla's Berlin plant in Germany was officially put into operation, and the relevant data was not made public; the Tesla Gigafactory in Texas, USA, was about to be put into operation.

In addition, Tesla also announced the construction of charging service infrastructure around the world. As of the first quarter of 2022, Tesla has put into use more than 32,000 superchargering stations, of which Chinese mainland completed more than 1,100 superchargering stations, more than 8,500 superchargering stations, more than 700 destination charging stations, and more than 1,800 destination charging stations.
