Every year around April 23 (World Book Day), on the day of spring breeze and warmer, a grand event about reading, the Spring Wind Reading List Awards Ceremony, is held in Hangzhou.
Writers, translators and critics from all over the country gathered in Hangzhou to take stock of the high-quality books of the past year and work with readers to unveil a comprehensive and high-quality "Spring Breeze Delight Reading List".
Since 2012, the Spring Breeze Reading List has been awarded for nine sessions. It achieved its original goal and became a unique reading event in the Yangtze River Delta.
Past judges, award-winning writers, and award guests have formed friendships with Chunfeng Yue Reading List and left a story in Hangzhou. The Spring Breeze Reading List connects them with readers and records milestones for the course of literature.

Writer Li Er is the deputy director of the Museum of Modern Chinese Literature.
When I went to visit him, the hall on the first floor downstairs of the curator's office was exhibiting "Huang Yongyu's Poetry and Illustration Exhibition".

The exhibition consists of seven chapters, including "The Flute Man in Flower Clothes", "The Phoenix and the Phoenix Man", and "Starting from the Beginning Like a Young Man".

At the door of Li Er's office, in a long corridor, a row of books and magazines stacked against the wall. In the small office, in addition to the desks and chairs, most of the space is also occupied by books.
Li Er is also one of the people with the longest relationship with the Chunfeng Yue Reading List, and he has served as a judge for many times.
In 2013, Kim Woo-cheng's "Blossoms" was highly recommended by him and won the Platinum Book Award of the year. In 2015, "Blossoms" won the Mao Dun Literature Award, becoming one of the hottest literary works in the past decade.

In the spring of 2019, at the 7th Spring Wind Yue Reading List Awards Ceremony, Li Er won the Silver Book Award for "Ying Wu Brother".
Four months later, "Brother Ying Wu" won the Mao Dun Literature Award.
Li Er has been interviewed by Qianjiang Evening News many times. On August 22, 2001, on the 25th edition of the Qianjiang Evening News, Li Er published "Writing in The Truth- Commenting on Xie Youshun's "Living in the Truth".
On May 27, 2013, Li Er gave a lecture at the "Money Newspaper Reading Club".
On New Year's Day 2022, Li Er recommended new books for the majority of readers.

Hourly News: Can you tell the story of your encounter with chunfeng yue reading list?
Li Er: The Chunfeng Yue Reading List invited me to serve as a judge to recommend the bibliography. Several of the books I recommended ended up winning awards, including that year's Flowers.
Later, I was also fortunate to receive the Spring Wind Award, together with Mr. Han Shaogong.

Chunfeng Yue Reading List is an award with an earlier and longer history in China. It is between the award and the ranking, and has established its professionalism and recognition in the literary world, and its reputation is very good, and it has been widely recognized by the literary community. In particular, it is hoped that it will be able to continue to do it year after year.
News: Can you tell us about your recent creative journey?
Li Er: I write things more slowly, and I have to go through a relatively long preparation before taking some notes. I'm writing new works, when I'll be able to finish it, I don't know.
"Ying Wu Brother" originally did not expect to write so long. There will be some connection between my novels, I am not a writer who follows the story, and all my novels are the product of my experiences and thoughts over a period of time.
Thinking will continue to move forward, and I am willing to express a period of thinking in the form of a novel at the end. I didn't want to write several novels with the same idea – which made me write less.
At present, this work is still relatively difficult to write.
Hourly News: Can you talk about an interested newcomer or a new book?
Li Er: I received some books and also saw some works by friends. What impressed me more was Liu Zhenyun's "Three Autumns in One Day", which still had many changes compared with his "One Sentence Top Ten Thousand Sentences".
Among them is a character, Hua Erniang, who has never appeared in the history of Chinese literature, and this character is very complex in the narrative sense.
How is this role analyzed?
I have also seen some critical articles, but these critical articles do not focus on the character of Hua Erniang. A lot of stories are told to her, and because they are told to her, this story can be heard by us. And this character spans ancient and modern times, and is a character that can be crossed. In the novel with a strong sense of reality, the appearance of such a flower girl, I believe some readers will feel abrupt.
If there is no such character, how should the story be told? With this character, how has the story changed? Why did the author write such a character?
I don't think critics have yet to make a convincing statement.
The novel reads nicely, lightly, and even some passages may be too lighthearted, but contains difficult and difficult to explain parts. I also thought about writing an article about this character and her significance in the novel, but I haven't fully thought about it yet. This character is interesting.
