Recently, the fourth series of the 2021 National Publishing Fund-funded project "Everyone Reads Everyone" was officially published by Yilin Publishing House.
This is a set of literary appreciation courses edited by famous scholars Ding Fan and Wang Yao, including Tie Ning's "Hidden Masters", Ge Fei's "Boundaries of Civilization", Li Er's "Writing of Insiders", Qiu Huadong's "The World Created by Masters" and other works. These authors are both the leading creators of contemporary literature and the most powerful critics, who are extremely literate and artistic, and this is the first time that they have published a private book list, especially it is worth mentioning that it also includes Ge Fei's first literary lecture on Tsinghua University.
"The Hidden Master" is a collection of essays on literature and art by Tie Ningman, which is divided into four series: reading people, reading books, reading paintings, and reading the world. "Reader" describes the author's interaction with Yang Dai, Sun Li, Ma Zhitu, Dajiang Kenzaburo and other predecessors, and is sincere; the author shares the nourishment of Lin Fengmian, Feng Zikai, Wang Zengqi and other famous artists for her art and life.
The Frontiers of Civilization is the first publication of Ge Fei's literary lectures at Tsinghua University as a collection of literary criticisms by robert Muzier, Naoya Shiga, and Melville, three writers from the mid-nineteenth to the twentieth centuries, focusing on several classic works such as Muzier's "The Man Without Personality", Shiga Naoya's "Dark Night Walk", and Melville's "Moby Dick".
"The Writing of insiders" is Li Er's literary reading notes. The book is divided into five parts: "Reading and Writing" talks about the enlightenment of Borges, Camus, Carver and other contemporary literature; "Commemoration" recalls the literary achievements of late masters such as Ba Jin, Qian Gurong, Radar, and Stetson. This book is a concentrated presentation of the author's literary outlook and creative outlook, and it is also a high-level classic literature reading lesson.
"The World Created by the Master" is a carefully selected reading note accumulated by Qiu Huadong over the years. As a contemporary literary master deeply nourished by world literature, Qiu Huadong, a master of reading, focuses his attention on the dozens of people who have had a profound impact on the pattern of world literature from the second half of the nineteenth century to the present: from European modernist novel masters such as Joyce and Kafka, to American novel giants such as Hemingway and Saul Bellow, to Latin American "literary explosion" giants such as Rulfo and García Márquez...

Promote reading for all and make the classics "come alive"
The authors of the first series of "Everybody Read Everyone" are well-known writers in the field of literature;
Subsequently, the "second series" was published by Yilin Publishing House, including the manuscripts of several academics; the content of the "third series" focused on foreign literary translation; the fourth series of this publication became the position of famous Chinese writers speaking classics, continuing and broadening the thinking of the first three series, and the five leading readers focused on the ancient and modern Chinese and foreign literature and art fields, and delicately interpreted the artistic achievements and spiritual connotations of writers and works for the public, so that literary classics were popularized, works of art were brought to life, and elegant culture was popularized.
