In December 2007, the United Nations General Assembly adopted a resolution to designate 2 April as world autism awareness day every year from 2008 onwards to raise awareness of autism and related research and diagnosis, as well as people with autism.

True autism versus false autism

1 True autism (organic autism)
It is the patient who loses the brain's thinking function due to genetic mutations, and loses or seriously lacks thinking function.
Their appearance is no different from ordinary people, but their innate lack of logical thinking ability such as summary, induction, analysis, and judgment, and their lifelong intelligence is low.
Causes of true autism:
True autism is caused by genetic mutations, according to the calculation of human true autism ratio should be close to 150,000, it is estimated that the number of true autistic children born in China each year should not exceed 120, and the number of true autism patients born in the United States should be less than 36 per year.
True autism is a rare disease that should be classified.
There is currently no effective rehabilitation.
2 Pseudo-autism (functional autism)
It means that the child has no organic lesions in the thinking area of the brain and has normal thinking ability, but their lack of intelligence is due to the uneven development of a certain ability the day after tomorrow.
There is a fundamental difference between pseudo-autism and true autism.
Causes of pseudo-autism :
Pseudo-autism is due to the uneven development of several competency elements that affect human learning ability.
If the distribution of human abilities as a whole is regarded as a normal distribution, many of the abilities that children with pseudo-autism may have are at the extreme point, that is, a certain ability is extremely weak or a certain ability is too strong, resulting in the child may lose some or all of the thinking ability, resulting in lifelong mental retardation, showing the characteristics of true autism.
For example, in children with autism who exhibit particularly timid behaviors, most of them have a situation in which the early brain's visual memory ability is too strong to develop, and visual memory is difficult to forget.
As a result, children of the same age are more sensitive to the environment and have a stronger sense of self-protection than children of the same age, so children do not dare to look at people who are not familiar with them, lose the opportunity to observe and imitate the things around them, and also lose the opportunity to learn specific knowledge.
Sick children are stunted in their development and lack normal verbal and social communication skills.
In order to raise awareness of autism and strive for early treatment to improve the condition of patients, the United Nations General Assembly adopted a resolution in December 2007 designating 2 April of each year as World Autism Day.
The resolution was submitted by Qatar and co-sponsored by 50 other countries.
