Recently, according to overseas media reports, Mercedes-AMG officially announced the overseas price of its AMG EQS 53 4MATIC+, starting from 147,500 US dollars, equivalent to about 938,600 yuan. It is reported that the new car will be delivered to customers at the end of the summer of 2022.
As the first mass-produced pure electric model under the Mercedes-AMG brand, the AMG EQS 53 4MATIC+ was first unveiled at last year's Munich Motor Show. The AMG EQS 53 4MATIC+ is based on the Mercedes-Benz EQS, and the front face decorated with longitudinal chrome trim is a star-like design that contrasts with the ordinary version of EQS with the starlight dot matrix design, which comes from AMG's family design. The front surround still retains a large area of vents, which increases the sense of movement while also providing more efficient heat dissipation for the braking system.
In the interior, the AMG EQS 53 4MATIC+ still retains the sense of luxury and technology from the EQS. MBUX Hyperscreen appears as standard in the interior. Carbon fiber trim, AMG steering wheel and large suede wraps reflect the strong AMG properties.
In terms of power, the base version of the AMG EQS 53 4MATIC+ has a maximum power of 484 kW, a peak torque of 950 Nm, and an acceleration time of 3.4 s from 0 to 100 km/h. Customers can also opt for an optional high-performance kit with an optional maximum power increase of 560kW, peak torque to 1020Nm, and 0-100km/h acceleration time of 3.2s. The AMG EQS 53 4MATIC+ is equipped with adaptive air suspension and rear wheel steering, with a battery pack capacity of 107.8 kWh and a cruising range of 526-580 km under WLTP conditions.
