Previously, according to the Russian Satellite News Agency, after Russia's special military operations against Ukraine, the frequent appearance of letters on Russian military vehicles caused concern. According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, the letter "Z" represents "victory", while the letter "V" represents "the power of truth" and "the task will be completed".

Therefore, the letter "Z" has become a symbol of "support for Russia" in the eyes of many foreign netizens, and many companies have also been attacked because of the letter "Z". LV had earlier been scolded for the "Z" of the jewelry logo, and the Swiss Zurich insurance company also removed the company's logo "Z" from social media in order to "avoid suspicion".

For this modification of the product name, Samsung official has not given an explanation, this operation is regarded by SamMobile as a "low-key change".

In addition, the folding screen mobile phone name on Samsung's official website in other countries has not removed the "Z", and Samsung has not made a statement on whether it will modify the product name globally.

SamMobile believes that Samsung's move is to once again express its position on the situation in Russia and Ukraine. According to Yonhap News Agency, after the escalation of the Conflict between Russia and Ukraine, Samsung has suspended its supply to Russia and provided assistance equivalent to $6 million to Ukraine.

In the foreign electronic product user forum, many netizens expressed their confusion about this.
