As a clean and efficient secondary energy source, hydrogen energy has the characteristics of large energy density, high combustion calorific value, wide source, compressibility, storage and renewable. Hydrogen is not only an important industrial raw material and reducing agent, but also a necessary fuel for fuel cells. In recent years, with the country's emphasis on the development of hydrogen energy, fuel cells have been continuously promoted and popularized, fuel cell vehicles have begun to enter the mature market, as a central enterprise of Sinopec determined that the "14th Five-Year Plan" period will develop the whole industrial chain of hydrogen energy as the core business of new energy development, and gradually cultivate and strengthen the integrated industrial chain of hydrogen energy production, supply and marketing of Sinopec, and create "China's first hydrogen energy company".
Qilu Petrochemical Chlor-alkali Plant is the only chlor-alkali production enterprise of Sinopec, hydrogen is a by-product of electrolytic brine production of chlorine and caustic soda, low cost, good quality, purity of 99.99%, fully in line with the national vehicle fuel cell hydrogen standards, and hydrogen from self-use to external supply will not increase other costs, compared with other brother enterprises have obvious price advantages.
On October 22, 2021, Zibo City, where Qilu Petrochemical is located, issued a medium- and long-term development plan for the hydrogen energy industry for comments, and determined that Linzi District is a large-scale hydrogen production industry base, which in turn provides a basis for the development of Qilu Petrochemical's hydrogen energy industry.
On November 29, 2021, the project was handed over, and on December 30, the hydrogen trial operation conference was held, and the hydrogen filling entered the trial production stage. While meticulously debugging, strengthening inspection and ensuring the smooth winter of hydrogen filling equipment, Qilu Petrochemical strengthened communication and cooperation with Zibo Zhonghydro Gas Co., Ltd., and conducted in-depth discussions on hydrogen transportation modes, paths and hazard prevention measures.
On February 4, the hydrogen produced by Yanshan Petrochemical, a subsidiary of Sinopec, lit the main torch of the Beijing Winter Olympics, and the news spread to Qilu Petrochemical, and the employees of the Chlor-alkali plant of Qilu Petrochemical, who were preparing for the official departure of hydrogen, were encouraged to speed up the progress of various certificate procedures and realize the efficiency of hydrogen leaving the factory as soon as possible.
On February 22, Qilu Petrochemical Hydrogen Mobile Pressure Vessel Filling Permit Procedures were completed, and hydrogen had the conditions for formal filling and leaving the factory.
Li Shaolong, deputy manager of Zibo High-salary Area of Shandong Petroleum Branch of Sinopec Sales Co., Ltd., introduced that on November 18, 2021, Sinopec's first highway hydrogen refueling station was completed and put into use in the Zibo service area of Jiqing Expressway, filling the gap in the hydrogen refueling network of the expressway. At present, the amount of hydrogen used by highway vehicles is small, and the next step is to actively connect with Qilu Petrochemical with the development of hydrogen vehicles, and plan to sell hydrogen from Qilu Petrochemical according to hydrogen consumption.
On March 27, Shandong Huaben Energy Co., Ltd. entrusted Shandong Bao hydrogen energy co., Ltd., which has the qualification to transport hydrogen, to Qilu Petrochemical to fill it with hydrogen.
"Hydrogen pressure is high, filling safety is the most important, the operation can not be sloppy, filling 200 kg of hydrogen, it takes more than 2 hours." Huang Dexin, technician of the caustic soda workshop of the chlor-alkali plant, introduced that in order to achieve safe filling, the special special tank truck to the factory is parked in the filling parking space, fix the body, the front of the car is driven away, and then eliminate the static electricity of the tank, strictly charge the operation, the pressure is charged to 17.5 megapascals to stop filling, after filling, do a good job of safety measures, and then the front of the tank truck is pulled away.
At 10:58 on March 28, After Huang Dexin and Bi Yifeng, the long-tube tanker escort of Shandong Bao hydrogen energy co., Ltd., inspected the pressure and temperature, the first fuel cell hydrogen was officially shipped out of the factory and transported to the hydrogen refueling station of Shandong Huaben Energy Co., Ltd. in Linzi District to provide clean energy for hydrogen energy vehicles.
"Qilu Petrochemical is a central enterprise, with a good reputation and good quality of hydrogen produced, and we will cooperate with Qilu Petrochemical for a long time." Niu Lingfan, manager of Shandong Huaben Energy Co., Ltd., affirmed the hydrogen gas of Qilu Petrochemical.
In order to broaden the sales channels of hydrogen, Qilu Petrochemical actively contacts enterprises in Zibo City. "We will also purchase fuel hydrogen from Qilu Petrochemical according to the amount of fuel hydrogen demanded." Zhai Shenxiang, manager of Zibo China Hydrogen Gas Co., Ltd., said.
Rong Meng, manager of the chlor-alkali plant of Qilu Petrochemical, introduced that according to the demand of the fuel hydrogen market, it will be filled and shipped at any time, and the hydrogen used in fuel cells will be accelerated to leave the factory, so that more users can use the high-quality hydrogen of Qilu Petrochemical. In the next step, Qilu Petrochemical will be prepared to expand capacity according to the needs of the market, and make every effort to create results in the external supply of hydrogen.
