It is understood that the first round of the polio vaccine supplementary immunization campaign is from March 28 to 30, 2022, and the second round is from May 9 to 11, 2022. Children born between 1 January 2018 and 31 December 2021 can be vaccinated against polio, regardless of their place of residence, place of birth and whether they have a history of previous immunization.
Tayir Khadr, director of the Xinhe County Health Commission, said: "The polio vaccine is to prevent polio and ensure the healthy growth of children. At present, 5261 children who meet the vaccination requirements have been surveyed throughout the county, and a total of 136 vaccination points have been set up to ensure that the vaccination (rate) reaches 100%. ”
