According to Bloomberg, Apple is developing a "hardware subscription service" that operates similarly to iCloud and Apple Music, but it uses Apple hardware devices such as iPhones and iPads as part of the subscription.
Similar to the Apple Music subscription service, users only need to pay a certain monthly fee to get the right to use hardware products such as iPhone and Apple Watch, and when new products are released, they will be directly updated to new devices.
Unlike apple's current "annual renewal plan", this hardware service will adopt a fixed monthly payment model and cover all Apple hardware products in the subscription, while the "annual renewal plan" is a one-time payment or installment payment model after the device price is offset, and is limited to a single product line.
This hardware subscription service will also be combined with Apple One subscription services and AppleCare+ repair and assurance services to achieve comprehensive coverage of hardware and software services from users to purchase, use, repair, upgrade and replace machines.
Bloomberg said the service could be Apple's "biggest user repurchase plan to date," and they expect the service to be launched by the end of 2022 to mid-2023. But there is still too little news about the program at present, and the variables for the future are still large.
